🌶️🏆 CHILI COOK-OFF AT PELICAN POINTE! 🏆🌶️

Things got spicy at Pelican Pointe! Our residents and staff gathered for a fun-filled chili cook-off, and we had three delicious entries competing for the top spot. 🍲❤️

🍂🍁 Fall into Autumn: A Taste of Cogir! 🍁🍂

What a delicious afternoon at Pelican Pointe! Our Taste of Cogir event was the perfect way to welcome the fall season while celebrating some of the amazing flavors and recipes that make our community so special. ❤️

Our incredible chef, Amanda, put together an amazing spread featuring:

🧀 Brie Cranberry French Bread
🧅 French Onion Dip
🍇 Whipped Feta with Cranberries, served with crostini's
🌶️ Buffalo Chicken Bites

But the best part? Amanda also brought some of our residents' favorite recipes to life! We were honored to feature:

🍪 Gayle's Cookie Pudding
🍑 Kathy's Luscious Apricot Bars
🍒 Lavonna's Cherry Salad

A HUGE shoutout to Amanda for putting so much love, creativity, and hard work into this event! She truly knows how to make food that brings people together, and our residents, families, and guests got to enjoy every bite. 👏❤️

🏕️ Road to 250 – Week 11: Yosemite Valley, California! 🌲

Our Week 11 Road to 250 Senior Social took us to the beautiful Yosemite Valley in California! We enjoyed learning fun facts about Yosemite, indulging in delicious campfire S’mores bars, and having a good old-fashioned marshmallow pull! It was a sweet afternoon filled with laughter, learning, and wonderful company.

❤️ Making Memories, One Adventure at a Time!

Last week, Dave, a fellow veteran who regularly visits Pelican Pointe to spend time and socialize with our veterans, took one of our residents on a special outing to two beautiful waterfalls near Diamond Lake!

It was a wonderful opportunity to get out, enjoy the beauty of nature, and make memories together. And that smile? We think it could light up 1,000 rooms! 🥹

We are so grateful for Dave and the time, kindness, and companionship he brings to our community. It's the little adventures and meaningful connections that make such a big difference. Thank you, Dave, for helping make life at Pelican Pointe a little brighter!
