Strack Intermediate School

Strack Intermediate School Strack Intermediate opened its doors in 1977 with an enrollment of 962 students.

Strack is named in honor of Herman Strack, the oldest of five sons who came to Texas from Prussia in 1848. The Strack Cougars have been an important part of the community for thirty eight years, welcoming students from Benfer, Haude, Roth and Kuehnle elementary schools.

❤️ 🖤 One of the best parts of the school year is celebrating our students and their accomplishments. Today, many of our Cougars enjoyed our Quarter 4 Incentive Party with games, bracelet making, snacks, and time with friends. This celebration was earned by students who met at least 3 of 4 important expectations for Quarter 4, and we are incredibly proud of the responsibility and commitment they showed. Watching faces light up as they explored our new building and reunited with former teachers made for some truly sweet moments.
