Early this morning, Klein Fire Dept. responded to a structure fire in Creekside Farms, with mutual aid by Spring Fire Department and Ponderosa Fire Department. Harris County ESD 11 Mobile Healthcare provided patient care for 2 persons, including one firefighter.

Cadet Course 2022-02 continued this weekend with ladders. One of the most challenging obstacles is having trust when on the ladder and our cadets overcame that obstacle learning techniques to lock-in and provide a safe and stable platform when working on the ladder.

hosted a reunion of volunteers from KVFD at Station No. 1 this morning. Lots of familiar faces showed up with hopes of more in the future.
Engine 38 (E38)
2019 Pierce Mfg Velocity Cab with 12” Vista Roof. The last of our engines to built with seating for 6 (four in the rear). This engine has a Cummins Inc ISC 450hp diesel engine, 2000gpm Hale Products mechanical seal single stage pump, 8kW Harrison Hydra-Gen hydraulic generator and a Husky 20gal Class A foam system. It carries 750 gallons of water.
E38 has a sister engine, E37. They share the configuration and livery, which is the direction of new apparatus going forward.
E38 is housed in Gleannloch Farms at Station No. 8

This past weekend, participated in the MADD Walk and Awareness event at Champion Forrest Baptist Church in Jersey Village of Hwy 290. DC Sturman and FF Orlandino represented our department in TW36.

Harris County ESD 16 - Klein Fire Department is on scene of a large storage unit fire in the 5900 block of Spring Stuebner Rd. T-31, RH-35 and D-38 are providing on the 2nd Alarm to Spring Fire Department along with the Woodlands Fire Department, Ponderosa Fire Department and South County FD. 1 firefighter has been assessed by Harris County ESD 11 Mobile Healthcare on scene.

UPDATE: Tapout has been called and some companies are being released. No injuries reported. Fire was reported through the roof on arrival of first units and knocked down quickly.

This morning, sent TW36 to assist Cy-Fair Fire Department with hosting our nations colors during The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk in Cypress, TX.
Since 9/11, T2T have been helping America’s heroes by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building custom-designed smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders.
