Work Zone Awareness Week is here and this year’s theme is Safe Actions Save Lives.

As we head into another season of road work across Dunn County and beyond, we are reminded that every cone, sign, and flagger represents a person working to improve and maintain our roads while keeping traffic moving safely.

Whether you are traveling through a construction area or passing a maintenance crew on the shoulder, slowing down, staying alert, and giving space truly makes a difference. Small, safe choices behind the wheel help protect both workers and fellow motorists.

Thank you to our highway crews and all road workers for the important work you do every day. Let’s all do our part to keep everyone safe in work zones.
