The Knightdale Police Department would like to extend its sincere thanks to Great Southern Homes for their contribution toward our Public Information Initiative.
Their donation specifically funded new safety pamphlets that provide residents with actionable advice on staying safe. Collaborative efforts between the private sector and law enforcement are vital to the well-being of our municipality.

Freezer Pop Park Tour! 🧊☀️
We had a blast hanging out at our local parks and walking trails today! It was so much fun meeting new faces, chatting with neighbors, and handing out cool treats to beat the heat.

We want to give a big shout-out to all the parents who came to our Camp P.R.I.D.E. parent meetings yesterday! It was great seeing you all there.

We are so excited to meet the campers this year. We have awesome things planned and know it's going to be an amazing time!

All Town offices will be closed Friday, June 19th, 2026, in observance of Juneteenth. Offices will reopen on Monday, June 22nd, at 8 am. Emergency police and fire services may be reached by calling 9-1-1.

Trash and recycling services will be normal during the week of Juneteenth.

KPD always has a great time at our annual African American Festival, and this year was no exception. It was indeed HOT, and the rain wasn't kind to us at the end, but everyone seemed to have a great time throughout the afternoon/evening. Kudos to all the staff who helped make the day the success it was.

🚓😊 This week, we had a special visit from one of our young citizens!

Our officers enjoyed the opportunity to make a new friend and give a tour of some of our public safety vehicles. From patrol cars to emergency equipment, it was a great chance to share what we do and answer lots of great questions.

Building positive relationships with our community starts at a young age, and we are always happy to welcome visitors. Thank you for stopping by and spending time with us—we hope to see you again soon!
