🎉 RETIREMENT CELEBRATION FOR RANDY ANDERSON! 🎉

After an incredible 33 years of dedicated service to the Town of Knightstown, we’re celebrating someone who has given so much to our community - Randy Anderson!

Please join us this Friday from 2 - 5 PM at the Hoosier Gym as we celebrate Randy and his retirement!

For 33 years, Randy has been a familiar and friendly face in our community. He’s the kind of person who would do just about anything for anyone, and he truly knows no stranger in Knightstown. His willingness to help, his kindness, and his dedication to our town have made a lasting impact on countless people.

Randy has served as our Town Manager, and after 33 years of hard work and dedication, he is officially retiring. While we’re excited for him to begin this next chapter, Knightstown certainly won’t be the same without seeing Randy around town every day!

Come by, say hello, share a story, and help us celebrate Randy and 33 years of service to our community!

🚨 Weather Alert for Knightstown Tonight 🚨

The forecast is calling for the potential for severe weather across Central Indiana tonight, including strong thunderstorms, damaging winds, large hail, heavy rainfall, and the possibility of isolated tornadoes. Forecasters are encouraging everyone to stay weather aware throughout the evening and overnight hours.

Now is a good time to:

✅ Charge your phones and electronic devices
✅ Make sure you have multiple ways to receive weather alerts
✅ Secure any loose outdoor items
✅ Know where your safe place is if a warning is issued.
✅ Check on family members, neighbors, and anyone who may need assistance if severe weather develops.

Weather conditions can change quickly, especially after dark. We encourage all residents to monitor trusted weather sources and be prepared to act if watches or warnings are issued.

The Knightstown Police Department will also continue monitoring conditions throughout the evening. Please stay safe and look out for your neighbors.

**SHELTER HOUSE AVAILABILITY**

We have had a cancellation for the Shelter House at the Park for Saturday July 18th, 2026 if anyone needs a place for an event.

***POWER OUTAGE***

IMPA just called to let us know they have found a problem that needs fixed right away. This is happening as of 1:55pm today 5/28/2026. They hope to have all powered restored within the hour.

ADDITIONAL UTILITY BILLING UPDATE

AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS WILL NOT BE WITHDRAWN THIS MONTH
We have now been able to contact Invoice Cloud and have been informed they are no longer working with us. We apologize for this inconvenience as we were to the understanding that per the contract we had to give a 90 day notice which was done on 4/16/2026, however Invoice Cloud apparently has decided once they processed our request that they were disconnecting our services. We are still working on getting the online payment system functioning so please be patient with us.
In the meantime you can call 765-345-8009 and of course still come to the office. We can now accept credit and debit cards in office as well as cash, check, or money order.

UTILITY BILLING UPDATE

Please bear with us as we work through this month’s utility billing process. Our office is currently transitioning to a new billing system. Unfortunately, despite the changeover not being expected to affect customers using InvoiceCloud, we arrived at the office this morning to find that we had no system access — just like many of you experienced.

Our staff spent the day working to identify and resolve the issue, and we are hopeful things will be corrected very soon. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we work through these unexpected challenges.
