After much thought and discussions, and advisement of the Starke County EMA Director, we are going to cancel the 5:00-6:30 pm CT project check-in scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Our 4-H members, families, and volunteers safety is our biggest concern before, during, and after any weather system affects us.

We will be at the fairgrounds , Wednesday, June 17, 2026 during the day and families can check-in from 11:00 am CT to 1:30 pm CT. If anything else changes or timing of check-ins change, we will reach back out to all the families and volunteers.

If a 4-H member or family has schedule issues with getting their 4-H projects to the fairgrounds on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 from 11:00 am CT-1:30 pm CT or Thursday, June 18, from 8:30-11:30 am CT, we encourage them to reach out to their 4-H Club Leaders or other members to get their projects to the Fairgrounds.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The safety of the 4-H members, families, volunteers, and community members is the biggest importance.

2026 Cattle Pen Assignment

You are invited to participate in the 2026 Northern Indiana Animal Science Day Camp! This program is open to anyone in grades 3-8 and the cost is $25. This will include lunch and a day full of hands-on activities learning all about animals. You can sign up to attend at any location that works best for you.
