As tax bills start being received in the mail please be aware that the state has changed the way the Age/Over 65 deduction & disability deduction are applied. They are now applied as a credit and not a deduction. When you receive your tax bill look at the Comparison Statement that is included as page 2. The deduction will no longer show in Table 5 at the bottom left corner. It will now show on line 4c for the Over 65 credit or Line 4d for the Blind/Disabled credit.
