Knox County Rescue assisted the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) in the search for a missing kayaker in Blount County.

A big thank you to Sevier County Volunteer Rescue Squad for inviting members of Knox County Rescue to participate in your UTV/ATV EVOC course. We truly appreciate the opportunity to train alongside a neighboring agency and strengthen the partnerships that help us better serve our communities.

A special thank you to Bluff Mountain Adventures for welcoming us and providing a great location for this valuable training.

Working together through training and collaboration ensures we are better prepared when our communities need us most.

Where were you this morning when the sun rose?

While many were still asleep, some of our dedicated volunteers were already on the water as the sun rose over Knoxville.

This morning, Knox County Rescue volunteers donated their Saturday morning to help ensure the safety of hundreds of athletes participating in the K-Town on the River Triathlon. Their willingness to serve—often behind the scenes—helps make events like these possible and keeps our community safe.

We are incredibly grateful for every member who gives their time, skills, and dedication to serving others. Whether it's before sunrise, in the middle of the night, or during severe weather, our volunteers answer the call with professionalism, integrity, and compassion.

Knox County Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization funded through grants and the generous support of donations. Every contribution helps us continue our mission of providing specialized rescue services to Knox County and the surrounding communities.

This morning, members from Knox County Rescue were on the water assisting with the K-Town on the River Triathlon. Our volunteers helped ensure the safety of all participants throughout the swim portion of the event.
We are grateful for our volunteers.

Six people were reportedly saved from the water on Friday night by the Knox County Rescue and Knoxville Fire Department.

No one was injured and the boat was returned back to land in the mission, the rescue team said.

Members of Knox County Rescue assisted the Knoxville Fire Department with a water rescue after a boat began taking on water with six occupants onboard.

Working together, our teams safely assisted all occupants and helped es**rt the disabled boat back to the boat ramp without injury.

We are thankful for our volunteers for donating their time to help keep our community safe.
