Knox County Rescue

Knox County Rescue is raising funds for an underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) in loving memory of Christian D. Turman.

Christian’s mother, Deonna Evans, is helping turn her love for her son into support for other families. After meeting the divers who recovered Christian, she wanted to help our water team obtain equipment that could make a difference in future searches.

An ROV will help our volunteers search underwater, reach areas that are dangerous for divers, and improve responder safety.

Every donation brings us closer to this goal. If you’re unable to give, please share this post to help spread the word.

Thank you, WVLT, for highlighting our needs and sharing our mission with the community! Knox County Rescue is a 100% volunteer nonprofit agency, and we depend on grants, donations, and community support to continue serving others.

Your support helps us provide the equipment our volunteers need to safely carry out lifesaving missions. To help, please visit knoxcountyrescue.org. Thank you for standing behind our volunteers!

The equipment would reduce the time divers spend searching murky water like the Tennessee River, helping the squad locate victims faster and give families answers sooner. Here's how they're doing it: https://tinyurl.com/yc3362dy
