Join us for our annual pancake breakfast fundraiser! Our members will serve you a hot, delicious breakfast of pancakes, sausage, eggs, milk, orange juice, and coffee. Your free will donations will go toward purchasing various equipment needed for our fire trucks! Enjoy breakfast and meet our volunteer firefighters. Trucks, equipment, and gear will be on display.

Last night we trained with Dinges Fire rep and Indiana Township firefighter TJ Frank with our new to us extrication equipment. Big thank you to Ben Lenger for providing us with vehicles to practice with and allowing us to train on his grounds.

We had a great training last week thanks to the state Fire Marshall’s office for providing the Mobile Breathing Apparatus Training Unit. Our firefighters were able to train in a smoke filled environment to find and rescue a simulated victim. Our firefighters used SCBAs to further simulate a fire situation.

KRFD has been diligently collaborating and training with other local departments to hone our skills and learn new techniques to assist those who need us.

In March we participated in bus rescue training conducted by PRI and were joined by Indiana Township, Clay Township and Knoxville City fire departments.
