The Knoxville Nationals Parade, scheduled for 11:00 am tomorrow, has been cancelled for weather related reasons. However, our after party is still on! The b**r and lemonade are on ice, the watermelon is cooling, and the pizzas have been ordered. Join us at Headquarters from noon -2 tomorrow for pizza, watermelon, b**r or lemonade, and great camaraderie. No agenda just fun!!

Looking for a fun way to support Democratic candidates? Come walk with us in the Knoxville Nationals Parade on Saturday. We're letting everyone know that Democrats are here, we're active, and we're making a difference in Marion County. Wear your favorite Democratic candidate's t-shirt, anything plain blue or white, or anything else you like. Find us on Main Street between Fremont and Brobst at position 21. We'll pass out candy, treats for our canine friends and enjoy interacting with each other and parade goers.Afterwards, join us for pizza and beverages at our Headquarters (205 E Main)

SHAMEFUL: The Trump administration is planning to gut Head Start, a program offering free preschool to over half a million children.

The administration plans to remove quality standards and require more paperwork for hardworking families who need support the most.

This comes after many Head Start programs had to temporarily close over the past year due to the Trump administration’s funding cuts.

Donald Trump is taking away education from young children.
