East of Knoxville leak UPDATE:
The lake has been found and is being fixed at this very moment. We are able to turn valves to get most of our users to full pressure with the exception of those east and south of the sale barn along the highway. Our crew is still repairing that brake and getting wet while they do so! We will update when that has been fully repaired.

A huge thank you to our crew and Bassett excavation for working hard to get this repaired for our members.

MCRW District remains vigilant in keeping our costs to our members as low as possible, without jeopardizing our service and the integrity of our system. Therefore, the board of directors find it necessary to implement a rate increase of 10% due to the continued increased costs of maintaining our infrastructure, along with purchasing and providing water for distribution. The increase will also assist efforts of infrastructure improvements, such as another water tower to allow more capacity growth that has taken place in the past 40 years. This improvement is tentatively scheduled to begin construction in the next year. MCRWD will continue to serve our members well and make you our top priority.

Effective January 1, 2026, invoices will be charged according to the new rate structure. The increase is as follows: Minimum (first 2000 gallons) $31.47, next 3000 – 5000 gallons $10.40/1000 gal, next 6000 – 10000 gallons $7.85/1000 gal, and bulk price (over 10000 gallons) $4.55/1000 gal. Prices are pretax.
