Please remove all vehicles on side of roads so that we can make this process as smooth as possible!!😁

PLEASE STAY OFF FRESH CONCRETE

The City is currently completing sidewalk renovations throughout the business district, and we need everyone’s help to keep the project on track.

Unfortunately, twice this week someone has walked through freshly poured concrete, damaging the new sidewalk before it had a chance to properly set. 😔

We understand that construction can be inconvenient, but please do not walk on, step across, or allow children or pets onto areas that have been caution taped or marked as fresh concrete. Those barriers are there for a reason.

Fresh concrete may look solid on the surface, but it needs time to properly cure. Walking through it can cause damage that requires the area to be repaired or replaced, creating additional work, delays, and expense for the City.

Please help us protect our new sidewalks and taxpayer dollars.
If an area is blocked off, please use an alternate route and give the concrete time to cure.

Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and help in keeping our sidewalk improvements looking their best!

Sheridan Rd is currently closed between Pleasant Ave and Newman St due to an ongoing incident. Please avoid the area.

You’ll see lots of work going on around the library in the next few weeks! We will be getting new sidewalks all around the building. Beginning tomorrow, July 28th, the sidewalks to the side and front of the library will be removed, leaving the front of the library inaccessible. The library WILL REMAIN OPEN. We ask that patrons park in the city lot behind the library and enter through the back door on the east side of the library by walking through the alley. We will have signs out to direct you. The back door does not have a traditional handle, so you may need to knock so that we can hear you.
Please watch this space each day for updates of any important information. We will try to update as we get more information about the project. We appreciate your patience as the City improves our downtown sidewalks and lighting.

1993 International Dump Truck

* DT466 engine
* 14-foot Henderson dump box with air gate
* Tag axle configuration
* Approximately 105,000 miles
* New radiator installed in Spring 2026
* Runs well and is equipped with excellent tires

The minimum acceptable bid is $8,000.00.
