Some pretty incredible people helped make Deeply Rooted possible. 🌱

Our 19th Annual Restoring Hope Luncheon was a reminder of just how much this community believes in families.

To the businesses, organizations, and individuals who chose to sponsor this year's luncheon, we are so grateful.

Your support goes beyond helping us gather for an afternoon. It reflects a shared belief in the goals moms are working toward, the futures they're building for their children, and the importance of having a community walking alongside them.

Here at The Restoration House we believe everyones story matters. And that when we share our stories with one another, something truly beautiful happens... we create a more deeply rooted sense of belonging and community 🩵

At this year's 19th Annual Restoring Hope Luncheon, we had the privilege of hearing the stories of several amazing women - moms who shared pieces of their own unique journeys, the challenges they bravely navigated, the goals they pursued and met, and the tremendous growth and joy they and their children are experiencing!

We are still humbled and amazed by what can happen when the single-mother families at The Village have a Deeply Rooted community that chooses to walk alongside them!

There’s a difference between living near someone and genuinely knowing your neighbor.

At The Village, we see that difference in the everyday moments.

Neighbors checking in, sharing what they have, and simply being present for one another.

That’s why we love National Good Neighbor Day and the work of The Hopeful Neighborhood Project and Neighboring Movement, celebrating the connections that turn where we live into community.

Today, we’re especially grateful for the neighbors who make The Village what it is.

🍪 It started with a little vanilla.

A mom and her daughter were making cookies when they realized they were missing one ingredient. So they asked their Village neighbors if anyone had vanilla to spare.

A neighbor did. 🩵

And a little while later, the favor came full circle when fresh cookies were shared with the community.

It’s a small moment, but this is so much of what we mean when we talk about community at The Village. Asking when you need something. Sharing when you have something to give. Knowing there are people nearby who will show up, sometimes with vanilla, sometimes with cookies. 😊
