Recently I shared how upset I was with customers being unkind and even rude with us. Kenny and I are trying our best to keep up with the quantity of clocks coming in and the customers are getting frustrated. We genuinely love what we do. Another clock repair person wrote this to me. THANK YOU!
I work soooo hard to keep that special 5 star review. Thank you dear customers for all your love dnd support!! We will call everyone with your estimates and your clocks are getting done one by one - I promise!
XO. The Clock Lady says so. ❤️
Read below……. What the other clock shop said…..

Please give yourself grace!! We are also in the clock industry for 49 years and have learned some people are just mean. Once upon a time I worried about bad reviews from just one person, I don’t anymore. We work in an industry that is so shorthanded you can only do so much. You are a great person that cares alot and don’t let the mean ones win!! PS- We don’t work on Sundays anymore, we do need a break because we are only human

“When you do Business with Your Heart, You Get Heart Burn”. A good friend repeats this to me time and time again. It is Sunday, the one day per week I claim for our staff to not have to talk clocks, work on clocks, think about clocks etc. If we want to work, we can and we do…. but repairing and healing time is tedious and “no pun intended”, Time Consuming…. We are trying so hard everyone to work on the clocks, make the estimate calls, track parts, go on service calls to homes, make appointments. This is a dying trade. There are very few good clock repair people left who “genuinely care and stand behind their warranties”. Kenny and Joanie (me) care!!! It’s been an “abusive Sunday” with people getting mean on the phone…. Please don’t threaten each other in this life my friends. We are all trying to do our jobs, live life, keep peace and we need to care about how we speak to each other…. I try tooooo hard to be a punching bag. But for 30-40 years now I’ve been doing business with my heart because I do care and my real true customers know how much I care. If you’re a new customer who doesn’t know me yet and don’t know how we care, please don’t be mean and send abusive emails and leave nasty messages…. Especially when I’m within the timeframe I gave on whatever I was doing for you! Clock repair is becoming a thing of the past. People travel from other states to have us work on their clocks, especially cuckoo clocks. We work our way through them one at a time…. So thank you in advance for your caring, patience and kindness to each other! XO

My daughter posted these words below today and I couldn’t be more Blessed to hear this shared by her. She is beautiful inside and out!! Growing older and with the passage of time comes a little wisdom, WE ALL HOPE. Ha Ha. The hustle and bustle of life today, yes…. Customers calling and yes, customers yelling at me …. (Ha Ha. I love you all, even the yellers….). This just brought me back to be grounded. Thank you Elisabeth for these words below.

In 2026, I’m leading with one thing.... GRATITUDE. 💛🌻☀️

Not just for the beautiful, easy things — but the messy, confusing, didn’t-go-as-planned ones too.

Because if there’s one concept I’ve learned in this lifetime it's: Plan on the plan not going to plan.

Life doesn’t always follow the plan that we so confidently and thoroughly mapped out 😅🗺️🌌

It doesn’t always unfold the way we expect it to… but that doesn’t mean there isn’t good in it. Things will shift. Timelines will change. Expectations will get tested....That’s not failure, that’s all part of the process.

I’ve had "God Is Good" by Francesca Battistelli on repeat, and it’s a much needed reminder that there is good in every season, whether you see it immediately or not. "Joy comes, tears fall. I'm learning there is beauty in it all... It's not hard to find it, you just have to look."

Wins? Earned.
Losses? Lessons.
Pressure? Proof you’re being stretched into something greater.
Setbacks? Laying the groundwork for what's next by building the foundation for greatness.

I’m choosing to show up grateful, always.
Grateful in the growth. Grateful in the unknown. Grateful in the becoming.

Because the good is ALWAYS there…
You just have to decide to see it. ✨

Gratitude is a choice. A discipline. A perspective.

And I choose gratitude. What do you choose?

We received a wonderful review from a customer…. Thank you….

Powerful words in this….. XO

Powerful words in this….. XO

Back then, time meant something.

You didn’t operate on excuses.
You operated on discipline.

If you arrived early, you were secure.
If you arrived exactly on time, you felt the pressure.
If you were late, you knew you’d messed up.

No one had to spell it out.
You just understood.

There were no alerts.
No buzzing reminders.
No backup plan sitting in your pocket.

There was only a watch.
And the duty to honor it.

Showing up late meant you didn’t value it.
Showing up early meant you were taught well.

You learned that being present counted.
Even when you didn’t feel like going.
Even when no one was paying attention.

That small watch wasn’t only tracking minutes.
It was shaping your character.
It was teaching respect.
It was reminding you that your word carried weight.

Back then, punctuality wasn’t a choice.
It said something about who you were.

Today, everyone seems to run behind.
Back then, you aimed to be ahead.

And somewhere along the line…
we stopped honoring the clock.
And started wondering why everything feels off schedule.

This Clock Lady couldn’t resist!! XO

Harvey Korman stormed into the clock repair shop, clutching his priceless grandfather clock like his life depended on it.
He was in a hurry. He needed it fixed immediately.
What he got instead was the slowest, most infuriating repairman in television history.
Tim Conway, as The Oldest Man, took one look at the clock… and decided time no longer mattered.
With agonizing slowness, he shuffled around, filled out paperwork at a snail’s pace, offered ridiculous replacement clocks, and even listened to the grandfather clock with a stethoscope like it was a dying patient.
Every second that passed made Harvey Korman’s blood pressure rise higher.
Until the moment The Oldest Man proudly presented the “fixed” clock… completely upside down.
The chaos that followed was pure comedic perfection.
And Harvey Korman? He completely lost it.
