Yellow Bank Ranch Koerth, Texas was settled by German and Czech immigrants after the Civil War and was originally known as Yellow Bank.

The land which Yellow Bank Ranch occupies was first owned by Emil and Frances Hermes and remains in the Hermes family to this day.
