We loved hosting 100-year-old World War II Coast Guard veteran Betty Cowgill in the Howard County Veterans Service Office this afternoon. Betty was a trailblazer for future generations of women to serve in the Armed Forces. What a great inspiration! (Pictured are Connie Paauwe, Debra Rahe, Betty Cowgill and Dean Hockney)
