Um, excuse me Black Envoy with the open trailer at Western School recycling bins! These items you tossed in the bins are NOT materials that are accepted in those bins. These are what they call “trash items”. Oh, also we have your plate number😳 I hope you have the day you deserve! This is why we cant have nice things.

For residents in Howard County, we offer a convenient one-stop shop for many of your recycling and disposal needs.

We’re open to the public Monday through Friday, so there’s no need to wait for those once-a-year or special drop-off events.

The Howard County Recycling District will be unable to do any shredding for the immediate future. Out shredder is out of order. We will make a post when it is repaired and open for business. Thank you for your understanding!

It's been a fun week at the Howard County 4-H Fair. We are still having nightly drawings for cool prizes and will be giving away a rain barrel after tonight. So head out to the fair and be sure to sign up for our drawing. Congratulations to Lisa Ford who was our Tuesday night winner! Tonight is the last night, so we hope to see you there.
