Looking for a way to support local youth this week? We are in need of a meal sponsor or volunteer cook for our Thursday night miniUP!

We are preparing for 35 kids this week—our miniUP children (ages 3–9) plus our UP workers (teens ages 13–18 who help lead).

You can either prepare a homemade meal or sponsor food for us to serve.

Our UP™ crew was out putting in some serious sweat equity last week tackling heavy yard work by the water! 🌿🧹

These kids cleared brush, pulled weeds, and worked hard as a team. In our UP™ Program, we teach youth that hard work leads to real rewards. Nothing is just handed to them—they earn points for every hour of effort, which they use at our UP Store for essential items, hygiene supplies, and rewards.

If it’s been a while (or if you’ve never visited!), you might not even recognize how much our 45,000-square-foot facility at 813 S. Union St. has grown and transformed!

Every single corner of our building—from our Dignity Area and program rooms to our state-of-the-art youth work spaces—is designed to give Kokomo's kids a safe, modern, and inspiring environment where they feel valued, capable, and ready to learn real-world life skills.

Seeing photos online is great, but walking through the building and seeing our youth in action during program hours is something you have to experience in person!

Almost every Sunday, we take youth from our UP™ Program who would like to attend church out into the community!

After service, we head right back to our cafeteria at 813 S. Union St. to share a meal together, look over the bulletin, and talk through what we learned. It’s a wonderful time of fellowship and connection where our kids can ask questions, reflect on the message, and enjoy lunch alongside caring mentors and friends.
