Are you or someone you know part of a county agricultural organization?

ISDA is seeking delegates to vote in the District 4 State Fair Board election. Agricultural organizations must apply to ISDA by July 1 to be eligible to vote in the district election.

The following counties are in State Fair District 4: Decatur, Delaware, Fayette, Franklin, Hamilton, Hancock, Henry, Jay, Johnson, Madison, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Tipton, Union, and Wayne.

As bud break is currently occurring on early species in southern and central Indiana, remember to be on the lookout for callery pear (Pyrus calleryana) on properties that you manage for removal. Callery pear (multiple cultivars in the landscape from this species) has become a major invasive species
