Tomorrow. Downtown Kokomo. Strawberries. Thousands of friends you haven't seen in a while.

The 2026 Strawberry Festival takes over downtown Kokomo on Friday, June 5, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Grab a giant bowl of strawberry shortcake, browse more than 240 vendors, enjoy free kids activities, shop local, and spend the day in the heart of the city.

The countdown is over. The strawberries are ready.

A friendly Strawberry Festival parking reminder:

Buuuuuttttttt ..... If you're planning to park in the lot across from the Central Middle School, don't. We're sharing the day with the Kokomo High School graduation and they'll need those spots. We know the shortcakes are tempting, but probably not tempting enough to explain to a graduate's grandma why you took her parking spot.

So check out the other available lots and give a big ole shout-out to any of the graduates you're lucky enough to see! Way to go, Class of 2026!

Curious about those creative junk journaling videos you see online? Now you can learn how to make your own! Right here in beautiful downtown Kokomo!

Artworks Gallery offers hands-on, 4-week junk journaling classes where you’ll explore a new theme each session and build your own personalized journal from start to finish. All supplies are included, so you can focus on learning, creating, and enjoying the process.

Classes meet on Saturdays from noon to 2 p.m., with the next session beginning in May. Space is limited, and registration is required to secure your spot.
