I've seen a lot of bashlash on a recent post about First Responders so here we go....

Most Fire Departments are made up of volunteers meaning they don't get paid. They work other jobs and aren't always available during an emergency.
It is NOT an easy position. It is absolutely physically and mentally draining.

It is not a 9-5 job. You get out in 110° temps, -5° temps, when its snowing, when its raining, and many times all hours of the night.

You're never called out at 1:00am for something "good". It's an emergency for SOMEONE, whether it be minor or the worst day of someone's life.

Most days they're overlooked, a couple days they are hailed a hero, but many days, THEY are the ones who catch blame when someone couldn't be saved.

Don't think they don't carry around burned images in their minds. Don't think they don't question themselves on what they could have done different or better. Sometimes, fate is out of their hands.

Feel free to volunteer your time, your money, your mental health and sometimes even your life, if you think you could do a better job.

Since the firework show got canceled last night due to the storms. We will finish tonight when it is dark.

This will be the last round of fireworks until the storm passes and then the show will resume.

If the rain gets here before we start or, it looks like it will start raining during the show. We will postpone the firework show until the rain passes.

This Tax helps the The Fire Departments , EMS , and 911 Dispatch with funding this tax is needed to keep Paid and Volunteer Departments goin to keep there districts safe
