Hello everyone, happy Monday!! I just wanted to provide few details about why I got into the race, this morning a misleading post was again attempting to spin a communication I had with a former supporter. This was my response to that page.

Number one this page has double standards and we know who is being supported on this page. Number two these are the words and thoughts of Mr. Wolf spinning anything he can, attempting to mislead folks not my words. Many of you supported me for transparency and integrity in the past, because I chose independently to run again to help my district I get attacked, insulted, called a cheater and flip flopper.

It’s okay I respect that some of you aren’t with me this time, we don’t have to agree on everything but I’m my own person and man. I choose progress over the current Eastside conditions and I believe that it is my responsibility to lead and work for the next generation even if things aren’t better tomorrow I know that someday because I never stopped working for others then communities can be improved. This race is about working to solve problems and solutions for jobs and managing responsible growth. Not about who is flip flopping or loyalty to anyone or party.

Kyle is where I’ve lived and grew up and I want it to be better for my neighbors and family and to have the opportunities that I never experienced. We are all working hard some of us two and three jobs trying to provide for our homes and I respect all folks from all backgrounds that’s how I was raised, never had it easy but learned the value of working for everything no matter how small and doing the best on anything I set my mind on. My posts don’t make it on this page but feel free to fact check what comes out of my campaign page. As underdogs we have to continue to work and unite and spread our message of community over political spin. Please contact friends, neighbors, family in District 2 and ask them to support Zuniga for District 2. Thanks and God Bless.

Dear Kyle Community and Neighbors;

Our opponents are using the city's 2025 budget to intentionally mislead voters about our financial health. What they are labelling as "fiscally irresponsible" is actually the fiscally responsible ex*****on of voter approved road bonds and vital interest payments to secure Kyle's water and wastewater infrastructure. While my opponents plan to cut east side road projects, spend on redesigns, and delay infrastructure will stall our economy, drive up future construction costs, and risk water shortages. I stand by the strategic investments needed to keep Kyle moving forward safely.

Don't let political spin gamble with Kyle's future. I urge not to fall for short, sided rhetoric with no plans or solutions to address real issues for our city. Delaying our infrastructure today means paying double tomorrow for broken roads and strained water systems. Please read my comprehensive letter addressing our budget cuts to parks and professional staff that we needed to complete these important projects. As underdogs we need to share this information and reach out to friends and family and neighbors in District 2, because we deserve roads and safe sidewalks just as much as everyone else in Kyle.

Hey everyone, happy Monday, just wanted to share some facts and data about road construction that we know is lacking in District 2. You can see from the map of Kyle that District 2 did not have any investment in the 2022 road bond because of poor future planning and decisions made by past leadership. Regrettably, at the pace we are going in slowing down our road bonds, District 2 could once again end up being left out for future road planning.

Our communities deserve better roads and can't afford to wait, and as we've sadly learned just a few days ago a cyclist was hit in District 2 near the 7-eleven on east FM150. From the data you can see greater response and emergency vehicles time to get to accidents and increased fatal accidents near east IH35 and FM150. While FM150 is a TXDOT road that shouldn't stop our elected leaders from asking for funding for better crosswalks, streetlights, and sidewalks so that pedestrians and bicyclists that depend on our roadways can safely get to their destinations. District 2 needs a stronger vocal and active leader that has established relationships with county and state transportation employees to work with city public works to prioritize our roads.

Had a wonderful Sunday afternoon at Kyle Railyard supporting "Save our Public Schools" Texas organizing rally and event. We had great turnout and passionate crowd dedicated to protecting public education, increasing school funding, better resources and supporting quality education for all Texas students. Great to see many local and state community leaders and neighbors step up to rally for local school board control and say no to state takeovers.
