Big celebrations last week!

Our fabulous librarian Mrs. Ellis was celebrated as she takes on the big world of retirement! She plans to spend her time traveling and helping her grandbaby grow. We wish her the very best no matter how much she will be missed. 🦅❤ Thank you Mrs. Ellis for all your dedicated years of hard work ❤ 🦅

Secondly, we celebrate Mrs. Hotchkiss as the HES Teacher of the YEAR!! She just so happens to be taking on the role of librarian this coming school year as well. We are so lucky to have an amazing educator taking on this position she has worked so hard to achieve. Thank you Mrs. Hotchkiss ❤🦅

There are only 14 books left! Starting Monday we will be open to cash sales. Pick up an order form in the front office and bring exact change to make your purchase. 💃✨ A huge thank-you to Las Abuelitas de Oro for visiting Hemphill once again and sharing their beautiful Baile Folklórico performance with our 3rd–5th grade students!

Our Hawks loved experiencing the vibrant music, colorful dresses, and rich traditions of folklórico dance. We’re so grateful for the joy and culture you bring to our school each time you visit. 💙
