ALERRT has partnered with The "I Love U Guys" Foundation to provide training throughout the country to offer no-cost Full-Day Standard Response Protocol (SRP) and Standard Reunification Method (SRM) Train the Trainer Workshops. The goal is to bring together all community stakeholders involved in successful integrated crisis response including but not limited to law enforcement, fire, emergency medical services (EMS), dispatchers, medical personnel, facility security, emergency management, educators, administrators, school and district safety teams, and campus supervisors.
A uniform planned, and practiced response to any incident is the foundation of a safe school, safe business, and safe community. The SRP is action-based, flexible, and easy to learn. It rationally organizes tactics for response to weather events, fires, accidents, intruders, and other threats to personal safety. One critical aspect of crisis response is the accountable reunification of students with their parents or guardians in the event of a school crisis or emergency. The SRM provides schools and district safety teams with proven methods for planning, practicing, and achieving successful reunification.
