He gets it, truly making a difference in the lives of 6th grade students. He is always willing to help, whether it’s explaining a lesson again, offering encouragement, or taking extra time to make sure every student understands. What really stands out is his positive attitude. He comes to school with a smile and creates a classroom environment where students feel supported and comfortable. He has a special way of connecting with kids and getting them smiling, even on tough days. He doesn’t just teach, he builds confidence, kindness, and a love of learning. Our school is lucky to have him. Congratulations Carlos Vasquez for being selected as the WMS Staff Member of the Week!

This teacher gives their all to Wallace every single day. She has been a pillar in our community for years. She creates an environment where students feel safe and challenged to grow. She wears many hats throughout the day, helping anyone in need along the way. No matter what chaos the average middle school day may bring, she shows up with a smile and a plan to make the next best decision for our Wallace family. We are so lucky to have her on our team!
