Hey Grownups, summer reading is for you too! Join the library for one (or all) of our summer book clubs! From community reads to our monday morning group, byo audiobook for a trail hike, and our romance readers and crafters club on the weekend! We'd love to see you! This June, we're reading and discussing: Solito, The Borrowed Life of Frederick Fife, and One Golden Summer!

There's still time to read our Light for the World: La Crescent Community Read, the memoir "Solito" by Javier Zamora! Copies of the book are available for checkout at the library. Join us on June 14th for another book discussion.

And if you read Solito and enjoyed it, we recommend these additional books for all ages with more stories about the refugee and immigrant experience. Plenty of Minnesota residents featured in our collection!

Calling all audiobook lovers! We are seriously SO EXCITED to host two audiobook walks this summer! Bring your headphones and wear your walking shoes and join us for a short trail hike while we listen to our stories! Then, we'll have a fun, informal social at area businesses after. It's a low pressure, silent book club on the move! Hope you join us! 🎧📖🥾🌲🥤
