Every Saturday the Friends of La Crescenta Library sort donations to add to the Friends Book Store. The Friends accept donations during Library hours. Give the library a call from the parking lot at 818-248-5313. Library staff will bring a cart out to collect your donation. Shop in the bookstore to support the La Crescenta Library. Prices for books are generally $2 or less—most in near new condition. 100% of the proceeds go to support library programs and purchase books & materials most needed. A huge thank you to this wonderful volunteer organization.

Vaccine Clinic today at La Crescenta Library. The Department of Public Health will be offering free flu and COVID vaccines until 3 pm today. No health insurance or appointment needed.

Tomorrow January 6, 2022 from 10AM - 3PM LA County Health Department will be administering COVID-19 vaccines and boosters. Pfizer and Moderna Vaccines and boosters will be available for adults over 18. Pfizer vaccines will be available for children 5 and up. You can pre-register at: https://myturn.ca.gov/?config=109868a9-2fd9-438c-b572-39c0fc859535
Registration will occur onsite for walk in patients. Identification with name and date of birth preferred, but residents without identification will not be turned away. Please have vaccine cards ready so that we can verify booster eligibility (Moderna and Pfizer boosters can be given 6 months after the 2nd dose).
Patients must be 16 or older to receive the Pfizer booster.
5-17 year-olds receiving Pfizer will need a parent/legal guardian present AND documentation with proof of age indicating name and date of birth (birth certificate, school document, immunization/medical records, etc). Written consent for minors is needed for minors.
