Tonight we celebrate National Night Out! A reminder that safe, connected communities are built one neighbor at a time.

Join us in recognizing the dedicated members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, CHP, LA County Fire Department, and all of our first responders who work tirelessly to keep our community safe. Take a moment to meet your neighbors, strengthen community connections, and thank those who serve.

A strong community starts with engaged residents. Happy National Night Out, Crescenta Valley! 🇺🇸🚓🚒

Many of our residents have noticed construction behind Walgreens.

3037-3043 Foothill Development

This development was brought to LA County Regional Planning back in 2014. Over the course of 6 years, the developer and Regional Planning with input from CVTC Land Use committee (at the time) came to an agreeable project. LA County held two public hearings and the project was ultimately approved in 2021.

The latest information is available on LA County website but for ease of community access here are the details of the project from LA County Regional Planning. These renderings are from the 2019 presentation. CVTC Land Use is in the process of gathering updated materials from the developer to ensure they align with the adopted community standards design elements.

We understand the concern with larger developments in the community. And since this was project approved, State legislation has forced more development in communities without regard. We continue to work with the County to ensure overdevelopment does not impact public safety especially since the majority of Unincorporated La Crescenta-Montrose lies within an extreme fire zone.

🇺🇸 Home is where Independence Day feels a little more special.

Today, we’re reminded that the strength of our nation begins in communities like Crescenta Valley, where neighbors become friends, volunteers step up, families put down roots, and people care deeply about the place they call home.

As you celebrate this Fourth of July, whether you’re gathering with loved ones, enjoying our beautiful community, or watching the evening sky light up, we hope you take a moment to appreciate the freedoms we share and the responsibility we all have to preserve them for future generations.

Remember the brave men and women who sacraficed and the generations of Americans worked hard to protect the freedoms we enjoy today.

Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸

Bittersweet moment tonight as we wish Officer Bay well wishes in his new position and saying goodbye to one of the most dedicated community partners in Unincorporated La Crescenta-Montrose. Officer Bay has been such an asset to our community and champion for safety for all. Wishing him continued success with the CHP and beyond!

June 2026 General Meeting is this Thursday June 18th at 7pm!

Community attendance is appreciated as we continue to navigate proposed developments with the County and our elected representatives.

As we approach the half way mark of 2026 we would like to encourage those who may be interested in serving on the Council, now is the time to start learning about the process and the commitment. The Council is composed of residents who step up to the roll of an advisory board as democratically elected volunteers. Terms are 1 to 3 years. The future of La Crescenta depends on those who chose to get involved. The decisions made today will impact the community for years to come.

Reach out to us to learn more or attend meetings and speak with us directly!
