Pawnee County Conservation District is hiring a full time District Manager. This position requires day-to-day coordination of district activities within the policies and guidelines set by the Board of Supervisors and serves as the district’s representative to other agencies, organizations and the general public. Position includes various administrative and clerical duties in carrying out conservation related programs including state cost share programs. Must be friendly, self-motivated, have clerical experience, experience with QuickBooks for financial management, have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel, have strong verbal/written communication, great organizational skills, and enjoy youth education. In charge of enterprise activities which includes sales. Includes outdoor activities and field work. Must have valid driver’s license and will undergo a federal background check. Farm background preferred. Wages based on experience. Benefits provided are annual leave, sick leave, comp time and KPERS retirement, as well as a stipend for health insurance. Paid federal holidays.
