Thank you La Crosse County Health Department and Wisconsin Seal-A-Smile. These fantastic gals were able to seal OVER 100 STUDENTS' teeth this week! What a phenomenal program!

Thank you to these 5th graders for leading us all in our Monday morning MIGHTY MUSTANG AFFIRMATION over the loudspeaker today -
I was somebody when I came.
I'll be a better somebody when I leave.
I am powerful and I am strong.
I deserve the education that I get here.
I have things to do, people to impress, and placed to go.
I am a Mighty Mustang!

What an exciting day! We spent the day BUILDING on our school expectations. We BUILT our new year’s foundation on being responsible, respectful and safe! Our staff BUILT each other up, and we worked on BUILDING excitement for a brand new school year with a cool assembly! Way to go Mustangs!!

Thank you to our amazing Spence Elementary PTO, P&T Electric, GROW La Crosse, all our community partners, our Spence students and families, and our incredible staff for making last night’s open house absolutely top notch!
We will see K-5 students tomorrow for our FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

We planned and prepared for a new school year today! More importantly, we gathered, laughed, welcomed some new staff members, and decided we all missed each other and our students all summer long! We are getting all geared up to welcome students back!!!!!! We will see students tomorrow for pictures (1-6pm), open house (5-6pm), and our PTO touch-a-truck (5-7pm)! Thank you Spence Elementary PTO! Remember to get your skyward student info update completed, and you’ll then be able to see your student’s 26/27 classroom teacher in their skyward schedule.

This year's Back to School theme was "Aloha". La Crosse School Resource Officers were excited to be back in the buildings and are looking forward to another great school year! If you see them, stop and say Aloha!
