Robert W. Bruce Scholarship Fund is presently funding 9 students in their post secondary schooling. These scholarships fund tuition, fees, books, food, housing and travel expenses. Kate Hathirat is the scholarship committee chairperson and oversees the investments.

Kate is a graduate of Northwestern University, Wharton School, and Carnegie Mellon University. She was recently recruited from Harvard University to work at a private bank in Singapore.

After 21 years as president, Karen Dahl retired from the presidency and warmly welcomed the new officers and board this spring.

Karen Dahl, founder and 20 years president, retired in May and Pat Heim of La Crosse, WI was elected the new president. Dahl will serve as secretary of the foundation. The officers for 2019-2020 are Heim, president, Kate Hathirat, Bangkok and Cambridge, MA is vice president and Sarah Mayer, Viroqus, WI is continuing as treasurer.
