Important Update About Our Future

We want to share an important update with our community. Our organization was not selected for continued AmeriCorps Seniors funding. This means our designation as the Coulee Region Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) will conclude on July 1, 2026. This results in an $83, 118 annual loss in funding.
While this change is significant, it is not the end of our mission. We are moving forward with a transition to a new name, structure, and identity, and we remain committed to serving the Coulee Region through volunteer engagement and community support.
Our volunteers, partners, and supporters have always been the heart of our work. Thank you for standing with us as we begin this next chapter. We will continue to share updates as the transition unfolds.

One of our amazing volunteers is busy at the Children's Museum of La Crosse creating amazing costumes! Have you ever thought about volunteering at the Children's Museum of La Crosse?

Okay, but who wouldn’t wanna play like a giant purple squid? 🦑s

Here at The Museum, we’ve got a whole lineup of props and costumes that let kids become literally anything they can imagine — and honestly, that magic wouldn’t happen without some real MVPs behind the scenes.

Big shoutout to Miss Connie (aka the squids sidekick 💜), who volunteers her time and sewing skills to keep all our costumes and props looking absolutely top-tier.

Go peep the new props in the Me and My Shadow exhibit and the fresh costumes in Tater Tots!
