Join us for the Inaugural Snowshoe Scamper on January 26th, 2013! If you have snow shoed before and would like to explore the breath taking scenery of the La Crosse bluff forests, be the first to participate in the 5K or 10K race. Day
of registration will begin at 8:00am, with the race starting at 10:00am, followed by an awards ceremony and CASH PRIZES. Each participant will receive a long sleeve event t-shirt. If you are just learning to snowshoe and would like to get tips and demonstration from trained staff or just looking to have some family fun, the FREE Family Fun Loop is the event for you! Activities Include:
-Snowshoe Demonstrations
-Sledding (bring your own sled)
-Snowmobile rides
-Free Hot Chocolate and S’mores
-Snowman Contest
Each participant will receive one free complimentary raffle ticket for our youth and adult raffles. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $2 each or 3 for $5 at the event. Raffles include but are not limited to:
-Youth Snow Paws
-Adult Snow Shoes
-Gift Certificates
