Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 5th, is the Indiana primary election, with polls open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. If you live in LaCrosse/Dewey Township, you can vote at The Center of LaCrosse. The county now uses vote centers, so voters can cast their ballot at any one of the LaPorte County polling locations instead of just in your neighborhood precinct. This gives voters more flexibility to vote at a location that may be more convenient. If you’re unsure where you can vote or who is on the ballot, visit https://indianavoters.in.gov/. There is also information pinned on the LaPorte County Election Board's page at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61564413151217.

For the convenience of those living in LaCrosse/Dewey Township, these are the candidates up for election. When it’s your turn to vote, you will need to tell the poll worker which ballot you want, Republican or Democrat. Then, based on that answer, you will vote for the candidates that will move on to the General Election in November, representing your selected party.

Garage saling is a lot of work, and you can really work up an appetite with all that walking around to shop at the LaCrosse Town-Wide Garage Sale on Saturday, May 2nd! Don't worry, Woody's Weiner Wagon will be set up with their specialty dogs all day (and some extra breakfast items from 8 to 10 a.m.)

They will be parked at the old Heinold & Feller lot in town, just north of The Center of LaCrosse/fire station.

A portion of their proceeds will be donated to Community Schoolhouse, Inc. (https://www.facebook.com/p/Community-Schoolhouse-Inc-61558953413654/)

Remember, if you are holding a garage sale, there is a post with a map on this page where you can list your sale location and items in the comments.

The LaCrosse Garage Sale Day is this Saturday, May 2nd. Comment your address and what you’ll be selling below to let garage salers know your location. While the official hours are 8-4 on Saturday, go ahead and include days and hours in the comments (and even pictures of items if you'd like) as well if you plan to do something else. And, of course, feel free to share this graphic to help spread the word.
