Our office at 2000 Marco Drive, will be closed for the observance of Labor Day on Monday, September 7, 2026.

The Isle La Plume Yard Waste & Brush site will also be closed Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and there will be no access to the compost and wood chip pile.

On August 30, 2026, a city contractor will start posting temporary ‘no parking’ signs for a street sealing project that will begin the week of August 31, 2026. Weather permitting, this project should be completed by the end of the week, on September 4, 2026. As each street is completed, the signs will be removed. Please expect minimal closures or delays on the following streets:

UPDATE AS OF 7/16/26-Crews will be doing a final layer on Friday, that will need to cool overnight. The area will not be reopened until Saturday morning, July 18, 2026.

Road Closure-2nd St N & La Crosse St intersection and connecting roads.

The Street Department will be doing road maintenance, and the Wastewater Utility will be working on catch basins at the intersection of 2nd St N and La Crosse St. This means that southbound 2nd St N, from Copeland Ave to La Crosse St will be closed to all traffic. And La Crosse St, from 3rd St N to 2nd St N, east and westbound will be closed to through traffic and only accessible for Hampton Inn hotel guests and G.E.C.U. bank customers. The closure begins Monday, July 13th and weather and project permitting will go until end of day on Friday, July 17, 2026.
The closures will be posted at Copeland Ave & 2nd St N, La Crosse St & 3rd St N, and Pine St & 2nd St N intersections. No detour will be posted
