I am humbled and proud to have served the UW-La Crosse Police Department for the past 6 years as a Sergeant. The best part was recruiting officers from the academy to join our team. I’m super proud of this department and what we have accomplished under Chief Hill’s leadership. I’m excited for my next journey at the UW-Madison Police Department. I’m not saying goodbye I’m saying see you all soon. This department has won my heart over along with the members that make UWLPD amazing!

It was bitter sweet today as Officer Brian Oyen retired from the UW-La Crosse Police Department after serving the UWL Community for over 20 years. Officer Oyen, the UW-La Crosse PD congratulates you on a well deserved retirement. Your service and dedication to our community will be missed!

We were not on a Hwy to Hell only Hwy 12 to Madison to work the AC/DC concert at Camp Randall last night. Sgt Iverson, Sgt Miller, and Officer Guentz represented UW-La Crosse PD at a packed stadium. Fun was had by all!
