This week, our students across grade levels were hard at work building skills in communication, teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking! 💯
Our 3rd graders focused on Social-Emotional Learning, strengthening communication and teamwork skills through engaging activities that encouraged collaboration and respect for one another.
In Foundations of Cybersecurity, students dove into complex topics like public key encryption, hash functions, cryptographic key attacks, and networking. They explored how messages are securely sent and protected, learned how passwords are encrypted, and even examined how cyberattacks happen. To showcase their understanding, students created newscasts reporting on a simulated cryptographic attack—bringing real-world connections to life! They also traced how data travels across networks, discovering everything that happens behind the scenes when accessing a website.
Meanwhile, our 6th and 7th graders tapped into their creativity and teamwork while building shelters for Brian from Hatchet. Using imagination and hands-on collaboration, students strengthened both problem-solving and motor skills as they worked together to design solutions.
It’s been an exciting week of learning, teamwork, and innovation across our programs! 🚀
