Shout out to Union County Kilgore Marina. Their support of our Litter Gitter work has been amazing. Nate Rice towed this in and Dan Kilgore was ON IT! This is a "concrete top" piece of a dock (upside down) weighing probaby over 4,000 lbs. The Team out at Union County Kilgore Marina just took our total to over 350,000 Lbs.!!!!

So excited to let folks know we have another Litter Gitter Team out at Union County Kilgore Marina. Nate Rice and Kilgore are Teamed up with our Litter Gitter non-profit to clean that area. KIlgore Marina is a providing huge support by handling disposal of the trash Nate is bringing in. Over 4,000 lbs already!

We did a Litter Gitter run around Whitman Hollow on Sunday. This video I wanted to share my husband trying to get back on shore after ending up in the lake retreiving litter. He is doing what he loves… beautifying Norris Lake. Sometimes it’s not an easy task and most times he does it alone. But, when I am able to join him I like to drive the pontoon and he does all the hard work. So I was able to capture this video with a smile.

Wow! The partnership between Norris Lake Protection Alliance and Norris Lake Litter Gitter is yielding huge results! Total weight removed the this project...more than 2 tons (4120 lbs). Todd Thiele and his Team are hitting it out of the park! Dumpster costs are running very high this year if anybody wants to help. -Gitter
