Congratulations to our Summer Landscape Beautification Award winners!
🌼Residential: The Schaefers at 1506 Alder Street for their pollinator paradise.
🌼Commercial: RISE Services at 1420 Washington Avenue for their welcoming and accessible landscaping.

The purpose of the Beautification Awards Program is to recognize residential and commercial properties that add to the beauty and diversity of La Grande’s environment. Nominations for this seasonal award are made by the community, and winners are chosen by the La Grande Community Landscape and Forestry Commission and city employees. Nominations for the fall season will open September 14th. Flag Football Registration Closes in two weeks!

Registration for Parks and Rec Flag Football will close Monday August 31st at 11:59pm. Don't let your kiddo miss out!

Three Leagues are available for grades PreK - 4th. You can register online at www.lagrandeparks.org or by calling 541-962-1352

Volunteer coaches are needed for all leagues and can also register online or by calling.

We had an awesome final concert for our Concerts in the Park series. Unfortunate we didn’t get more due to poor air quality this Summer, but super appreciative of the ones we did get! Thank you to Scotty Wilson and everyone else who performed this Summer!
