Sundance Fire Suppression is looking for qualified Wildland Firefighters to fill the position of Engine Boss, FFT1, and FFT2. We run type 4 and type 6 engines based through out Oregon and Idaho.

Requirements for Engine Boss:
Must have ENGB Task Book filled out and have final Eval complete
Must supply all certificates for classes needed.
2021 Pack test and RT130
Have good leadership and communication skills
Must have organizational skills
Current DOT Physical

Requirments for FFT1 and FFT2:
FFT1 Task Book filled out and have final Eval complete for FFT1 position.
Must supply all certificates for classes needed.
2021 Pack test and RT130
Have good listening Skills
Able to follow directions

Pay based on Experience. The time and duration of these positions depend on the current Fire season.

With significant fire activity increasing in multiple geographical areas including, the Great Basin, Northern and Southern California, and Rocky Mountain, along with an associated rise in resource requests, the National has been elevated to Preparedness Level 4.

It’s getting closer!!

The National Multi-Agency Coordinating Group moved the National to 3 today. Currently, large fires in the Southwest, Alaska, and Rocky Mountain geographic areas are requiring significant amounts of wildland fire suppression resources from other areas. The National Interagency Coordination Center is moving more wildland fire suppression resources around the country, including incident management teams, crews, and engines.
