We’re quite interested and excited about the work being done by Eastern Oregon Film Festival in La Grande. Bringing filmmakers into the region both for the festival and for several other specially programmed extracurricular activities has led to some terrific creative work being done in the region.

Eastern Oregon University is proud to join the Rural Student Success Network, a national initiative led by Ithaka S+R and the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) and supported by ECMC Foundation.

As one of 16 rural-serving institutions selected for this two-year project, EOU will collaborate with peer colleges and universities nationwide to advance student success, strengthen transfer pathways, expand support for adult learners, and align academic programs with regional workforce needs.
