After 50 years behind the chair, La Grange Park’s own Tony Tardi is still going strong at Andy’s Hair Design (1901 E. 31st Street). Tony joined his father at the family barbershop in 1975 and has been a fixture in the community ever since. Congratulations to Tony on five decades of making the Village look sharp!

Check out this recent article featuring Andy's Hair Design in the Chicago Tribune.

Tony Tardi joined his father, Andrew, in 1975 at Andy’s Hair Design in La Grange Park and 50 years later he’s still behind the chair.

Notice to residents: the access drive providing entry to the Jewel-Osco commercial subdivision off Oak Avenue has been relocated eastward, closer to Forest Road.

The new location of the access drive supports the development of a new daycare, The Gardner School, planned for the northwest outlot of the site. While the overall traffic pattern and internal circulation within the site remain largely unchanged, the north-south drive aisle is now aligned with the central two-way drive aisle in the Jewel-Osco parking lot.
