Join us Sunday, June 7th for Great Music for Great Causes featuring the Chancel Choirs of First Congregational Church of La Grange and First United Methodist Church of La Grange benefiting BEDS Plus and . 🎶

BEDS Plus was built through the support of local faith communities who saw a need and stepped up to help their neighbors. That support continues today through meals, shelter, volunteers, donations, advocacy, and partnerships that help keep this local safety net strong.

We are grateful for the churches, community members, and supporters who continue to stand beside our most vulnerable neighbors and help make this work possible.

As we close out Mental Health Awareness Month, BEDS Plus is proud to share this community-wide campaign led by Community Memorial Foundation and Pillars Community Health.

Thank you to First Presbyterian Church of La Grange for creating and donating 13 beautiful handmade quilts for BEDS Plus clients moving into housing.

A handmade quilt is more than a blanket. It is comfort, care, and a reminder that our community is welcoming someone home. These thoughtful gifts help make move in day feel personal and meaningful for individuals and families starting a new chapter.

We are grateful for partners like who continue to show up for our neighbors with compassion and kindness.

With housing related requests to 211 Metro Chicago up 56%, the need for accessible housing resources and homelessness prevention services continues to grow across our communities.

We’re proud to partner with United Way and 211 Metro Chicago to help connect individuals and families to shelter, prevention assistance, housing resources, supportive services, and coordinated care when they need it most.

BEDS Plus is honored to be one of 20 organizations selected to receive funding through the United Way Response Fund supporting direct service providers working to address housing instability and homelessness prevention throughout the Chicago region.

211 has helped change how people access help by creating one easier connection point for resources and support before a crisis worsens.

Thank you to United Way, 211 Metro Chicago, and all of the organizations working together to strengthen our local safety net.

Memorial Day is a time to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country and the families who continue to carry that loss.
At BEDS Plus, we also recognize the veterans in our communities who continue to face challenges after their service, including housing instability and homelessness. One homeless veteran is one too many.
We are grateful for those who served and for the community members, partners, and supporters who help create pathways to housing, stability, and hope for our neighbors in need.

Strikes, smiles, and a lot of team spirit 🎳

Thank you to our amazing BEDS Plus staff for coming out to our Annual Meeting and Bowling Night. It was a fun night to connect, celebrate the work we’ve accomplished together, and enjoy time as a team outside of the office.
