Since our systems are down at the Fayette County Tax Assessor in La Grange you can renew at one of our substations.
They are not affected by this outage.
You must have the green renewal form and be the owner on record, not the renewal recipient. They will ask for your insurance, driver's license,and it must be current and have the star.
The substations are only able to process registrations that are not expired more than 30 days and are not farm registrations. The farm registrations must come thru our office.

Contact them before making the trip to do a registration.

Our office is no longer experiencing network connection issues. We are able to process Motor Vehicle Registration Renewals from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. As well as process Vehicle Title Transfers and TPWD Boat and Outboard Motor transactions from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
