School’s out and pool season is here! Keep summer fun AND safe by remembering these important water safety tips:
🏊 Never swim alone
👀 Always keep an adult watching children near water
🛟 Wear a life jacket when needed
🚫 No running near the pool
💧 Stay hydrated and take breaks in the heat
📱 Keep phones away while supervising swimmers
🚨 Learn CPR — it can save a life-contact oldham county ems if you need/want to be cpr certified :)
Even strong swimmers can get into trouble quickly. A few seconds of attention can prevent a tragedy. A child can drown in less time than it takes to set a world record. Always supervise children in and around the water, and designate an adult Water Watcher
