We had a very special visitor at the station!
A sweet little boy celebrating his 3rd birthday stopped by to share his birthday cake with our firefighters. We were honored to be a part of his special day and enjoyed celebrating alongside him and his family.

After cake, our crew had the chance to show him around the station, explore the fire trucks, and learn a little about what firefighters do. Seeing the excitement and joy on his face made our day!

Thank you to his family for thinking of us and allowing us to be part of such a memorable birthday celebration. Happy 3rd Birthday! We hope your day was filled with fun, laughter, and lots of great memories.

We honor Charles Wayne Spry today—a dedicated Firefighter who gave his life in the line of duty on May 26, 2021. We’ll always remember his bravery and heart.

May 25, 2021, Firefighter Spry attended mandated physical fitness training at the fire department. Early the next morning, May 26, 2021, his family found him unresponsive on the kitchen floor of his home. He passed away from a cardiac event.

On Monday night, our firefighters spent the evening doing some spring cleaning — washing and detailing the fire trucks and sweeping up around the station. Thank you to our crew for always taking care of the department and our community!

Today is Fireman’s Day, and we want to pause to thank our brave firefighters at the LaGrange Fire Department for their hard work and dedication. You mean so much to our community, keeping us safe every day. Firefighters Day is truly a time to celebrate you!

Happy Birthday to our Chief, Ryan Riley! 🎉🚒

Today we celebrate a man who has given 20 years of active service to the department and has proudly served as Chief for the last 5 years. Your dedication to this department and our community doesn’t go unnoticed.

Anyone who knows you knows you bring a fun spirit wherever you go, you’re a loving father, and most importantly, a man who loves the Lord!

Thank you for your leadership, your heart for this department, and for always keeping us laughing along the way. We’re thankful to serve under you and hope you have a great birthday!

Our hearts are heavy as we remember and honor the life of David “Pumper” Holmes, who passed away four years ago. A devoted retired Chief and dedicated member, his service and leadership left a lasting mark on the La Grange Fire Department. He will forever hold a special place in our department and in our hearts.

Tuesday night, we celebrated our Annual Ladies Night! It was a special time to honor the amazing women of the La Grange Fire Department for their love and support of our firefighters. The holidays, birthdays, and special moments they miss do not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciate all they do.

We also took time to recognize our firefighters for their hard work and dedication to La Grange throughout the year. We celebrated our active retirees, members with over 100 training hours, Presented the David Holmes Award and presented awards for the Officer of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Firefighter of the Year. It was a great night of appreciation and celebration for everyone involved.

Our active retirees are Mckeever Smith, Roy Smith, Chris Riley, CJ Foster, Jamie Jernigan, Kendrick Harrison.

Our members who collected over 100 training hours are Kendrick Harrison, Roy Smith, Chief Ryan Riley, Asst. Chief Mark Sutton, Asst. Chief Jamie Ham.

The member who received the David Holmes award (going above and beyond the call of duty) was Roy Smith.

Our Rookie of the year is Nick Stroud

Our Officer of the year is Mckeever Smith

Our Fireman of the year is Justin Holmes

The Men of La Grange Fire Department had an incredible year. Thank you to all the Local businesses owners who donated to celebrate our women! We are absolutely honored to have the love and support from the Community of La Grange!

Today, the La Grange Fire Department was honored to participate in the Faith Christian Academy Homecoming Parade! Chief Riley and FF Daniels both proudly have daughters who are FCA cheerleaders.
