Portage Creek District - Pathway to Adventure Council

"All the way!" Fun, adventure and Mike Rowe's view of Scouting...LIFE SKILLS (all while having fun and hanging with friends). The most impressionable years in the Scouting program are 11 - 14. Not dramatically because every year in program has a positive effect. As a parent, the moment you'll know is when they return (or perhaps you both return) from the first year at summer camp. They are on their way to Eagle. https://www.scouting.org/about/research/eagle-scout-2026/

⚜️ Over 60 Scouters Strong! ⚜️

What a great way to kick off the new Scouting year!

More than 60 volunteers gathered at Plymouth Place on August 12 for the Portage Creek District Kickoff to connect with district committees, learn about upcoming opportunities, share ideas, and enjoy fellowship with fellow Scouters. A special thanks goes to Portillo's for their generous donation of food that helped make the evening even more enjoyable.

👏 Special recognition to Amber Creger, Portage Creek Roundtable Commissioner! Amber created the kickoff bingo game, coordinated with district leaders, helped secure donations, and worked behind the scenes to bring the event together. Thank you for your outstanding leadership and dedication!

📝 We also want your feedback! Whether you attended the event or staffed a committee table, please take a few minutes to complete our 8-question Kickoff Survey.

➡️ Survey link will be posted in the comments.
