⚠️Temporary Road Closure - April 3-4⚠️

ATTENTION CAMPERS: Due to needed repairs, Alpine Road will be closed to through traffic on April 3 and 4. Visitors are advised to use Highway 84 to Pescadero Creek road to Alpine road to access the park during this closure period.

Thank you for your patience and stay safe everyone.

The bleeding hearts are blooming in our front porch garden boxes, courtesy of the !! And that’s just the tip of Spring’s beautiful melting iceberg- we’ve got big ol’ banana slugs sliming around and moss growing on trees like feathers on a turkey. Come visit us when the weathers good and see for yourself!

Wednesday 3/29, 9AM- 2PM: Help the Portola Castle Rock Foundation and CA State Park staff prepare the Portola Redwoods State Park campgrounds for the 2023 summer season! All are welcome but you MUST RSVP on Meetup.com here.

Tasks may include raking trails and cleaning campsites, blowing roads, installing and cleaning fire rings, cleaning and painting food lockers, creating slash piles or dispersing debris, and cleaning/sanding/staining tables as needed.
