What an amazing 3rd Quarter Assembly, so many kids earned awards for perfect attendance, AR, and Honor Roll. All the awards winners played Ships and Sailors. Thank you to all the family members that came to help us celebrate all the kids!

Flea Market Flip- Ag. Edition is full speed ahead.
17 Junior High Students were randomly split into 4 teams. They are now tasked at “flipping” three pieces.
The categories are:
1- Have the most unique piece
2- Re-do a chair
3-Re-do an item of their choice
This is a completely critical thinking challenge. It’s so fun to see their ideas!

No MOre Trash! is Missouri’s statewide litter-prevention campaign, working to clean up Missouri and make it a litter-free state through education, prevention and cleanup programs.
La Monte's 7th and 8th Grade girls designed and created a trash can (recycled oil drum) and submitted their design to MoDOT in order to raise awareness and discourage littering!

Tonight, members of the La Monte Community and Staff met to continue work on the La Monte R-IV Districts Comprehensive School Improvement Plan. The worked to develop the Top Priorities for the district over the next 3 years. Mr. Thomas, Superintendent, also showed plans and discussed the No Tax Increase Bond Issue that will be on the April 3rd Ballot. Improvements will include a larger updated Library Media Center, maintenance facility, new technology and additional safety precautions. Thank you to everyone that came tonight and put the focus on improving the La Monte School District. The next meeting will be March 27 at 5pm in the Multi all community members are welcome.
